Belle is crying because she got locked in a tower with what would appear to be some sort of were-bear with horns and anger problems, and a bunch of talking dishes. She did not have any prince charming at this point. Actually she took a Prince jackass and turned him into a Prince okaykindaguy. 

Ariel is crying because she doesn’t have legs and her father just yelled at her (I think? but I could be wrong) for keeping a bunch of shit from the surface in her hidey hole. Thinking about it I think this is actually a pretty could metaphor for transgender people. 

Jasmine is crying… well I can’t remember why she’s crying there, BUT she is a relatively strong female character. I mean she isn’t like an action girl, but she had enough sense to turn down all of the other ‘prince charmings’ that had tried to marry her. She went out into the dangerous streets of Agrhaba and fell in love with some homeless guy. 

When did Aurora cry? Is she just sleeping? Which brings up another good point in that she had no choice but to wait for Prince Charming on account of being magically unconscious. 

Cinderella had a terrible life! No (human) friends, no decent family left, no nice anything, essentially a slave, and she would have been resigned to that existence if not for the intervention of a bumbling old fairy and an ill fitted and frankly impractically made slipper (who makes shoes out of glass? honestly?). Let the girl cry.
